Victoria Banks has been nominated for 11 Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards and was named CCMA Female Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year in 2010. She has been labeled “one of the best songwriters in the business” by Nashville’s MusicRow magazine.
In addition to releasing three albums and touring with artists from Reba to Wynonna, Banks – who hails from Muskoka, Canada – has written ASCAP, SOCAN, CCMA and Covenant-award-winning songs for more than 50 artists.
Her cuts include Jessica Simpson’s Billboard record- breaking single “Come On Over,” Sara Evans’ solo-written hit “Saints & Angels” and duet “Can’t Stop Loving You” (featuring Isaac Slade of The Fray), Lauren Alaina’s “Queen of Hearts,” and many more. In 2016, Banks performed with the Nashville Ballet as part of their Attitude program, for which several of her songs were choreographed including the program’s title song, “City of Dreams.”
Phil Barton moved to Nashville ten years ago from Sydney, Australia.

He was awarded “Breakthrough Songwriter” of the year in the Music Row Awards in 2012
and had his first #1 Billboard song with the Lee Brice hit “A Woman Like You”, the song went double platinum in the US, and won him a precious NSAI Award for “One of the Ten songs I Wish i’d Written” that year.
Currently has the new Locash single “Don’t Get Better Than That” going up the US Billboard top 50 charts
Thirteen Top Ten singles to his credit in recent years on the Canadian Country Charts, with Gord Bamford, Chad Brownlee, Tim Hicks, The Washboard Union, Jess Moskaluke, High Valley, Meghan Patrick, Jojo Mason, Doc Walker, and Brett Kissell. His music has appeared in 2016 three times Oscar Nominated film “Sicario”, and television shows like “Nashville” and video games like ‘The Sims’
In 2016, he was recognized with the “Overseas Recognition Award’ from APRA in Australia for his work abroad, and has had constant chart action in his homeland with artists such as Busby Marou, Missy Lancaster, Reigan Derry, Morgan Evans, The McClymonts, The Wolfe Brothers, Travis Collins, Jai Waitford and Amber Lawrence
Before moving to the USA, he was a member of the two time ARIA Nominated Children’s music band in Australia, “The Flower Pot Gang”, and produced 87 Children’s Records through ABC Records Australia.
Over his career he has had over 800 songs recorded on country, children’s and pop records around the world.
Emily Shackelton is a songwriter and performer from Biwabik, Minnesota. After studying at Berklee College of Music, during which time she won the coveted BMI John Lennon Songwriting Competition, Emily moved to Nashville where she writes for Liz Rose Music and BMG. She penned the #1 Carly Pearce single, Every Little Thing, as well as Lauren Alaina’s Doin’ Fine. Her catalog also includes cuts by Reba McEntire, Cassadee Pope, Jennifer Nettles, Sara Evans, Jana Kramer, David Cook, Mickey Guyton, and more, and several of her songs have been featured on TV shows like Nashville and American Idol.
A singer-songwriter herself, Emily also enjoys performing around the country, with notable appearances on Garrison Keilor’s A Prairie Home Companion and The Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Auditorium, as well as the legendary Bluebird Cafe.
